The Minihoonie Company will produce a short demo tape that will be presented at the following conventions: the National Associations of Television Programming Executives (NATPE), the National Programmers for Animation and finally, the Marketers for International Programming Shows. At these trade shows television series and programming are selected and purchased for the coming seasons. With government and television executives asking for high quality materials with less violence, it is believed that such a series as the Minihoonies will attract a lot of interest and have an extremely high likelihood of being sold as a weekly series.
The Minniehoonie Company is ready to begin the production of a 30 minute television special that will be sold to television stations worldwide for viewing. Management beleives that this special can be sold on a multiple year basis. It is quite possible that the special will lead to a series of weekly programs for children's viewing.
It seems likely The Minihoonie Company will be able to sell the Minihoonies projects to many foreign markets. The Minihoonie Company has already received some strong interest in the Minihoonie project from Hispanic speaking networks and stations. The Japanese are the largest group of people who visit Hawaii each year and they would appear to be an appropriate market for the Minihoonies. In fact, any country with children and a large television audience would be an appropriate market.
The demo tape will also be used to introduce the Minihoonies to publishers, product merchandising and licensing companies.
